The HumaxACTit ToolKit is a set of Tools to modify and maintain your Humax 5400(Z)(Z+). It contains three tools that were distributed separately in the past.


HumaxTOOLit is a Firmware Tool.
It has a PMC Editor, Macro Editor, Satellite List Editor, Module Download tool, System ID Tool and a Menu Color Editor integrated.
Firmwaredatabase support.
Import Settings (*.hnf) or PMC Tables (*.csv) files as Modules.
Full Humax 5400 Z+ support.


HumaxSETit is an Advanced Menu and Channel list Editor.
Download directly and fast, without the use of the
OFF/ON button, settings from your Humax 5400.
Change Service, Transponder, Network or Satellite names
Organize Television and Radio services.
Organize Favorite and Genre lists.
Edit Humax 5400 Menu and TOH Config settings.
Online Settings Update.

HumaxACTit ToolKit 2.0


It was time for the second version of the HumaxACTit toolkit.

GENERAL INFORMATION

The HumaxACTit ToolKit is a comprehensive set of multi platform (Windows XP/ Vista; Linux) applications for the Humax 5400/5400Z/5400Z+ to deal with Firmware, Settings and Keys.

IN ORDER TO RUN The HumaxACTit ToolKit ON YOUR SPECIFIC PLATFORM, THE ADDITIONAL PROGRAM ActiveTcl MUST HAVE BEEN INSTALLED PREVIOUSLY!
In the program folder of HumaxACTit you find a file for easy and automatic installation of ActiveTcl: Install-ActiveTcl-Windows.bat or for Linux Install-ActiveTcl-Linux.sh
If you have any older Humax*it-programs on your system (they were published separately in the past), please uninstall them before installing The HumaxACTit ToolKit.
To perform this uninstallation just open the folder of any older Humax*it-program, double-click on the file "HumaxWinCONFIGUNISTALLit.bat" and select remove option 9; option 9 will automatically remove a specific configuration folder for the old Humax*it programs (location: C:\Documents and Settings\Your_login_username\.humaxtools).
Afterwards the separate program folders containing the old programs themselves can be deleted manually by dragging them to the dustbin.
HumaxACTit, in contrast, doesn't come with different folders for each program, but all programs are in 1 single folder: HumaxACTit.
(During installation HumaxACTit additionally and automatically creates a specific configuration folder located at: C:\Documents and Settings\Your_login_username\.humaxACTit.
Normal users don't have to deal with this configuration folder directly when using The HumaxACTit ToolKit. And if for some reason The HumaxACTit ToolKit is uninstalled completely, the configuration folder will be removed automatically (see the section "UNINSTALLATION of The HumaxACTit ToolKit in this readme-text.)

HumaxACTit boasts with an Online Update feature now which requires, of course, a working connection to the internet.

In the menu Options of each tool you find the option Update HumaxACTit to easily update the whole HumaxACTit ToolKit, supposed any update is available.

Alternatively, the update can be performed by a special executable file in the program folder of HumaxACTit:
by Update.tcl (for Windows) or by Update (for Linux).
By performing the update from time to time you will enjoy the latest developments and fixes concerning The HumaxACTit ToolKit.

The Split & Merge tool uses hnf2fvt.exe and fvt2hnf.exe (both are included in the zip file) to convert between hnf <-> txt.

This tool allows you to split a Humax hnf file (for example from PET123) into files per antenna and then merge the antenna's you want into 1 new file or reduce the hnf file to the preferred antenna's.
