Cant connect receiver with laptop

hi, I'm trying to connect starsat SR-X5500CU Super with my laptop, but I'm getting this message "Target not connect or target is error status!" I'm using a cable with nine pins on the reciver and USB end connected to the laptop, I need help, since the devices can not match

If you're trying to flash the receiver you need Serial port on the laptop end. The USB cable is not working for you. If you use USB you need special software to make it recognize the cable.

Necessary components and settings

* It is necessary to USB/RS232 adapter.
* Since USB/RS232 adapter is not crossed, it connects to a null-modem cable (2-3,3-2,5-5).
* The combination of adapter and null modem cable, connect the computer (laptop) and reciver.
* Adjust the "virtual" COM port on your computer, which is given USB/RS232 adapter.
It is necessary to assign a COM port number from 1 to 5, as Keyeditor supports choice only the first 5 ports.
SwLoader supports the first 9 ports, but we vote 1-5 for communication with both applications.
Is recommended that the choice between: COM3, COM4, COM5, since the physical COM1 and COM2 ports.
