My DM500S Just gone Dead

Hi Guys

I had the eagle image 5.2 on the DM just though i would try a new image Gemini 4.70 DM500 CCcam 2.1.4 via 2.6 vali II
Its boots up with the wall of sat chanal's then go's blank that it will not do a thing.
I can not even put a new image on as dose not see the DM500

I used Dream Up no can not find or see the dreambox have used DCC will not stay on FTP or telnet, it has in the past, any help would be greatful

sometimes it needs more tries (4-5), you have wrigt image?

Use 9pin to 9pin female to female null modem cable.
Run dreamup on Com1 or Com2. Click connect in dreamup. Plug the power cable into the box. Then choose flash and choose the img file you want to load. 10min and your done. I dont use flash erase, but somethimes its better to use.:good:

i use a null modem cable works a treat :got mine from e bay for a few pounds.
use an old pentium 4 or lower comp as it has the 9 pin d connectors at the back.id flash it a few times as it does not always clear the old image first time round

you can use a usb to serial converter if you dont have Serial port on PC. . If you're not installing image for first time, you dont require dreamup. you can use Ethernet port with Flashwizard pro..
