Valerie Project has a still deep in development for Media Center Enigma2 based Dreambox. This represents an interesting alternative to Media Center Homeys dar. especially with available tool written in Java can manage the movies and series database comfortable.
Of particular interest is the available at Project Valerie, written in Java and therefore platform-independent tool for managing the film and series database. One can fill any existing series or any movie with additional information and add images, which are then displayed on the Dreambox in each survey. The display of movies and series is therefore visually appealing and in a typical Media Center-style. Additional information such as the description, rating, length, director, genre, and year are also displayed.
Handy for including series is that you can enter with the help of the tool on each file to which episode and season it is. This information is then processed by the plug on the Dreambox and implemented accordingly. Therefore appear in the overview of the series not the same all the episodes and seasons, but shown only available name of the series.
I have tested this plug-in,,,,and it crashes a lot,,,it looks it needs more testing and developments!
