DVBLink for Dreambox 1.0


DVBLink for Dreambox combines excellent tuner hardware and power of open source development with ease-of-use and richness of Windows MediaCenter user interface. This product seamlessly integrates TV and radio channels, available in Dreambox, into MediaCenter, enabling all standard MediaCenter features for these channels like time-shifting, Guide EPG listings, instant and timer recordings and streaming to extenders.
DVBLink for Dreambox turns your Dreambox into a real MediaCenter!

System requirements:

*Windows Vista with TV Pack or Windows 7 (32 and 64 bit)

o DM500x
o DM56x0
o DM600
o DM70x0
o DM7025
o DM800
o DM8000



*Only Dreamboxes running PLi Jade2 or Nabilosat images are supported

What is new and fixed:

- Added background EPG information update for xmltv EPG source
- Added support for additional xmltv details: full description, genre, credits, thumbnail, rating, series information etc.
- Changed DVBLink addin user interface in MediaCenter
- Removed channel synchronization wizard in MCE
- EPG source, name and number of DVBLink channels can be updated after channel synchronization in MediaCenter
- Made DVBLink special streams optional
- Fixed hang-up of DVBLink server when stopping the service
- Added channels numbers to EPG Sources tab of DVBLink Server configuration
- Fixed channels numbers assignment for channes mapped to MCE Guide Services channels
- Fixed several memory overwrites problems, which manifested themselves in DVBLink Server hanging
- Added about box with the overview of installed products and their versions

To preserve your current system settings, run installation using the bat files.
If upgrading from version 2.x or beta1/2/RC1 of DVBLink for Dreambox you will have to delete and synchronize the DVBLink channels again in MediaCenter.
If you get "Program has stopped responding. You will now return to MediaCenter" message on MCE start up, you must boot to safe mode and delete mcepg*.db file in c:\programdata\microsoft\ehome\. Once booted up in normal mode again simply redo TV Setup.

All existing TVSource users can upgrade free of charge. Their existing registration information will be picked up automatically.
